About
NZ Energy is a building energy consultancy based in Waterford, Ireland. We specialise in providing domestic building energy rating (BER) certification for new and existing properties in Waterford, Cork, Tipperary, Wexford & Kilkenny. Our company director David O’Keeffe has over 15 years’ experience working in the building & construction industry and is registered with SEAI to undertake domestic BER assessments. If you are selling, renting, applying for a SEAI grant or retrofitting your property, our BER assessors are here to help.
Services
BER Certificates
A Building Energy Rating is required for all properties being sold, rented or undergoing retrofit works which are being partly funded by an SEAI grant. A registered BER assessor will survey the property and provide a rating of the energy performance of the building.
Technical Advisor
A Technical Assessment is required for homeowners who are applying for an SEAI heat pump grant. A technical advisor will survey the property and identify what steps may be required to make a property heat pump ready by calculating the Heat Loss Indicator (HLI) of the building.
Energy Consultancy
Upgrading your property to be more energy efficient will transform the comfort levels of your home, reduce your energy bills and reduce your carbon footprint. Grants are available from SEAI for insulation, solar water & electricity, heating controls and heat pumps
